Cookie Policy
Last updated: 19 May 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how VX Workflow uses cookies and similar technologies. We keep it minimal: we don't use advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or third-party analytics. Everything below is needed to make the Service work or remember a preference you've set.
What's a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file your browser stores when you visit a website. We also use localStorage (a similar browser storage mechanism) for a couple of preferences. Both are collectively referred to as "cookies" below for simplicity.
What we set
Strictly necessary
These are essential for the Service to work. You can't opt out of them without breaking sign-in.
- Supabase auth session cookies (
sb-*-auth-tokenand related): keep you signed in. Set by Supabase, our authentication provider. Expire when you sign out or when the session times out. - Stripe checkout cookies: set by Stripe during checkout to detect fraud and prevent duplicate submissions. Stripe's own privacy policy applies: stripe.com/privacy.
Preferences
These remember small choices you've made. Disabling them just means we'll reset those choices each visit.
unrealPortalDashboardTheme: remembers whether you've picked light or dark theme on authed pages.unrealProfileComplete(sessionStorage): short-lived flag so we don't re-check your profile-setup status on every page load in a session.unreal-cookie-consent: remembers that you've dismissed the cookie banner so we don't show it again.
That's the full list. We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, ad-retargeting cookies, or session-replay tools.
How to control cookies
Every modern browser lets you view, delete, and block cookies from specific sites. Search "manage cookies" plus your browser's name for instructions (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge all support it).
Blocking the strictly-necessary cookies will prevent sign-in and checkout from working. Blocking preference cookies is harmless, you'll just reset your theme and re-see the consent banner on each visit.
Changes
If we add a new cookie (for example, if we add analytics in future), we'll update this page and surface the consent banner again so you can review your choice.
